Gilberto Ortiz is a Mexican professional boxer in the Light Welterweight (Super Lightweight) division. His professional debut was on May 5, 2012, with a first-round knockout victory against fellow Mexican boxer Irving García at the Tijuana Municipal Auditorium in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
As of September 2020, Ortiz has a perfect undefeated record of 30 wins (15 knockouts) and no losses.
Born and raised in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Gilberto “El Flaco Explosivo” Ortiz always had a passion for sports and competition. He began boxing at the age of 13 at his local gym and quickly realized he had a natural talent for the sport.
